This arrived from Europe today. The Question is it Scot 279 or scot 279A in was sold as Scott 27A lol So ill get back to you I usually use lighter fluid to identify used stamps but I'm out of watermark fluid to use on mint stamps. I think it is only Scott 279. By the plate number. Time will tell. It goes to the PSE if it is a 279A not used as you know none have been recorded as not used to date from 1899.As i thought it is Scott 279.
