If your reply is going to involve a picture upload, you can't use the "Quick Reply" button. You have to use the black "New Reply" button to get the "Attachment" box.

Let me know if any further problems arise.

I'm working on it. There are a lot of possibilities where the problem might lie.

In the meantime, text posts should work and I'll post here if (when) I get the problem fixed.

The stamps and envelopes were in two boxes and an envelope  - one was originally a "Toe Warmers" box with those words in red on the cover. The other box was plain white, with the word "STAMPS"  printed on it.

The day-of-issue envelopes were addressed to various Charlesworths (Barbara, David, Mark and John) at PO Box 603, Deep River, ON.

If you do have any contact with those stamps, or have any other ideas for people we should contact, please let me know.


Contact provided their cell phone number but for privacy reasons I have not published it. Any member coming across this collection may contact me and I will pass on their cell number.

Launching "Participate and Pick up a Gift" !

Here’s how it works:
• Make any post on the discussion board (a new article, doesn't matter how long, a question, a comment, or a reply)
• Visit the “Gift Selection” post and choose one available item
• Pick up your gift at the next club meeting

Gifts are donated by the webmaster and will vary from meeting to meeting (covers, stamp packets, individual stamps or sets). 
One gift per member, per meeting.

Please note: Gifts are picked up in person at the meeting -- if you miss the meeting, the gift goes back into the pool for next time. (We want you at the meetings too!)

Hope you like the gifts! Claim a new one every meeting. Just participate!

Anyone, including unregistered visitors, may read the messages on the Board, but only registered members may post messages or reply to existing messages.

Members should avoid putting any contact or personal information in their posts. Other members can use the "Member" functions to get whatever contact information you cared to share, but that information is not visible to unregistered guests. 

Don't put personal information into your posts. If you do, the world will be able to see it and you will be broadcasting your personal information.

Members may use the "Private Message" function to communicate directly about trades, buys/sells etc. and safely share contact information via the Private Message functions -- don't put these things into a "Reply" to the original post. 

In order to register, just click on the "Register" link in the menu at the top of the page. The Webmaster will compare your registration to the club membership list and if you are on it, you will receive another email with notice of your activation. You are then free to make full use of the Board. If you are not on the membership list, your registration will  not be activated.
