Happy Easter everyone!
#1

See you all on Thursday, I hope!  Smile

Anyone else here not on Turkey or Ham as an Easter meal? In our case, we go for chicken just because turkey, being high in purines, tends to set off gout in the hubby.

Anyone else have any more "unique" food offerings?

Our daughter has become a vegetarian, so we have appetizers that she can eat, like Indian samosas, Chinese dumplings, Mexican corn fritters, or Jamaican veggie patties. Then I feel no maternal guilt putting out the Christmas turkey or Easter ham alongside four vegetables and a mini quiche. Except we just finished eating the Thanksgiving ham a few weeks ago when we were making space in the freezer, so it’s roast pork today, with a very small ham for the cats to share. Her cats are visiting and they eat massive quantities of meat! They were not consulted when she chose to forego meat.
