#1

It was great today to go to the stamp show. I was not feeling well from my triple bypass surgery But everyone was great I even bought some new stamps for my collection. My son was there to help me I always love going to the club or there show if I can and I hope to do it again.

Richard, can you tell us about one cool thing you bought at the show? I just went to three vendors - Graham, Mark, and Roy, who I can see anytime LOL. My back was having a very bad day, but I managed to spend all the money I took from the ATM, including the « I have no intention of spending this, but just in case » money!

Yes ... it was a great show this year. And, a good crowd. I found some nice covers and postal literature.

Richard, sorry you weren't feeling well. I noticed that you did a shift on the welcome desk despite that. We all appreciate your contributions to the club despite your health issues.

Looking forward to the spring show.

Cheers, Hugh

Thanks I enjoyed the time there with my son. I did buy one book of stamps but wish I could have stayed longer. I got rushed to the hospital the next day but all is good I still managed to place a 130,000 dollar bid on the U.S. Scott C3A inverted Jenning. But lost it later. The Position Number one of the only sheet ever found was sold for just over 300k. Maybe next time Ill get one LOL. I just have to remember only lift 5 lbs not 75 lbs, don't walk to far 6 blocks, get lots of sleep 3 hours a night whoops.
