Curious about these stamps
#1

I wonder is someone could tell me anything about these USA stamps.  Doing this for a friend whose husband passed a few years ago.

Hi Gilles … sorry, I can’t help you. As a WW postal historian I look at older US covers and cancels from time to time, but I don’t seek out or collect US stamps. Not my specialty. You may want to bring them to the club meeting on Thursday and ask around.

Good luck. Cheers, Hugh

Ill do this click hear and you will find all the different types>>>US stamps. Except the U.S. Army stamp. With the secret marks and grills You have to look at your stamps close and compare on WWW.theswedishtiger.com web page. # 2 is Scott 212 But the cancel is scarce to Rare so the cancel can sell for around $20.00 U.S. THe stamp is worth forty cents used. # 4 is a cut down postal card, being cut down its worth about five cents. #8 is a postage due its likely number J14 if its perf 11x11, if its perf 11 by 10.5 its J 84 About 50 cents. Good luck Happy collecting

The Army stamp. People like to collect things like that. They will likely pay 5 to 10 dollars U.S. for it.
