"Ribbed" stamps - Carmen - 19-12-2025

Hey all. So I'm looking at some Scott 341 which I am told is ribbed horiz.

How can I tell "ribbing"? Do I have to soak the stamp off the envelope first or is there some other way to do it? What am I looking for exactly?
